The London Chinese Spring Festival Gala, organized annually by London027 Community, is a grand celebration of the Lunar New Year aimed at bringing together the Chinese community in London, Ontario, and promoting the preservation and sharing of Chinese culture.

The event garnered widespread local attention, with supportive posts shared by the London Police Service Media Office (@LPSmediaoffice) and various local media outlets, highlighting the community’s growing recognition and appreciation of Chinese cultural events.

“5ml of Live” LIVEHOUSE Music Party is coming to Aura Cocktail Nightclub in London on the night of March 23, 2025. Hosted by London027, this 19+ event offers an electrifying evening of live music, immersive sound and lighting, and top-tier performances.

The lineup includes the Voice of China Canada champion, the beloved Spring Gala duet “Love Me or Him,” professional magicians from the International Magicians Society, and a collection of standout bands and singer-songwriters from Toronto, Waterloo, and McMaster. Expect a dynamic mix of rock, pop, R&B, and stage magic — all designed to create an unforgettable experience.

On October 5, 2024, London027, in collaboration with Manjusri Institute, co-hosted a special event titled “When a Monk Meets an Entrepreneur” — a full-day growth retreat held at Delta Hotels London Armouries.

This unique gathering brought together Buddhist monastics and Chinese business leaders for a meaningful exchange on themes such as shifting mindset, compassion in leadership, and mindful living. The program featured storytelling, group reflection, heart-centered discussion, and candlelight meditation, offering participants a peaceful space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their values.

The event was free and open to the public, drawing a diverse audience of professionals, students, and spiritual seekers. It sparked insightful conversations and left participants feeling grounded, inspired, and uplifted.

The London027 Mid-Autumn Festival Market is an annual cultural event held every September to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival of reunion and togetherness.

Designed as an interactive cultural fair, participants explore a festive market where they complete fun game challenges to collect stamps and redeem mooncakes and holiday gifts.

• Interactive games such as Taiko Drum Hero, Ring Toss, Pitch-Pot, Step Game, and Dice Throw

• Hanfu photo zones, lantern displays, and cultural booths

• DIY crafts and Mid-Autumn cultural exhibits

• Prize redemption area featuring mooncakes, snacks, and themed gift packages

By blending tradition with fun, this event offers a warm and joyful space for students and local residents to connect through shared culture and community spirit.

Beyond campus programming, London027 also organizes a variety of outdoor excursions and cultural outings, offering students a chance to relax, socialize, and explore the beauty and vibrancy of Canada outside the classroom.

These activities create opportunities for students to not just live in Canada — but to experience it meaningfully.

The 2025 Gala was held in February at Centennial Hall, drawing a live audience of over 1000 attendees. It has become one of the most influential cultural events for the Chinese community in the region. The evening featured a diverse array of performances blending tradition and modernity, including singing, dancing, instrumental music, Chinese opera, fashion shows, magic acts, crosstalk, and comedy skits. These performances were brought to life by local students, community groups, cultural organizations, and special guest artists

On October 15, 2024, London027 was proud to assist the London Chinese Art Group (LCAG) in successfully hosting the inaugural “Echoes of China: Charm of the Dragon” concert. Centered around the celebration of Chinese culture and the showcase of local Chinese artistic talent, the event featured a vibrant lineup of performances blending tradition with modern creativity.

Huron China Day is an annual cultural event co-hosted by Huron College at Western University and London027, celebrating Chinese heritage and fostering meaningful intercultural exchange within the campus community.

The 2025 edition took place on March 5, featuring a diverse lineup of performances including Hanfu fashion shows, traditional music, modern dance, choir, and interactive games. The event drew strong engagement from students and faculty, offering an immersive cultural experience.

As a long-term partner, London027 led performance coordination, on-site operations, stage production, and volunteer support, ensuring a high-quality execution year after year.

Huron China Day has become a flagship cultural celebration at Huron College and a testament to the enduring and productive partnership between London027 and university leadership.

On March 9, 2025, London027 successfully hosted the “Meet the Mentors: Finance Career Sharing Session” at UCC. The event featured several Chinese professionals from the fields of finance, accounting, and HR, who shared their insights on career paths, job search strategies, and industry trends.

Among the speakers were senior managers from Canada’s major banks, experienced HR leaders, and the current Chair of the Ontario Chapter of the Chinese Professional Accountants Association of Canada. The event offered an engaging platform for young attendees to connect, learn, and be inspired.

Beyond cultural events and holiday celebrations, London027 hosts a series of student-focused events each year to support Chinese international students in London, Ontario, especially during the transition into a new academic life.

  Held at the beginning of each semester, this full-member meeting introduces London027’s structure, upcoming plans, and opportunities for involvement. It also provides a space for open questions and suggestions.

• New Student Welcome Session
  Organized each September, this gathering helps new students build connections, learn from upper-year peers, and receive practical advice on academics, campus life, and career development.

• Campus Tour for Newcomers
  A peer-led walking tour that explores key buildings, study spaces, and student services on campus, offering tips and guidance to ease the adjustment process.
